Companies like TelemetryDeck have one thing in common: they need a lot of preparation time before the first revenue is generated. And it takes quite a while before the founders can make a living from it.

Over the past two and a half years, Daniel and I have given everything we have to start TelemetryDeck. We put our know-how, time, and savings into the company because we believe in the big goal: valuable analysis is possible without having to violate anyone's privacy. That is what drives us.

And now, we're incredibly happy to announce that we're getting a huge boost of power into our development of TelemetryDeck!

Here’s the plan

We have a great setup with servers that allow us to deliver insights quickly, freelancers to help us with docs, and a huge drawer full of plans for how to build TelemetryDeck into an amazing company.

But we can't do it alone. That's why we've brought 6 private angel investors on board. For a six-figure sum, they will receive about 3.6% of the company's shares in total. (We're sharing this number because we want to emphasize that we remain independent, and we're not going to go on a revenue-driven rampage that places growth above all else.)

In addition to the money that pays for our salaries, servers, and a lot of stickers, we also gained some really cool feature upgrades to TelemetryDeck-the-Company. For example, we now have access to a network of lawyers, data privacy experts, and well-connected entrepreneurs, and we can turn to these business angels with any questions we encounter on a day-to-day basis.

Emphasizing diversity

In addition to the promotion of a good idea and the realization that an offering like TelemetryDeck's was still missing on the market, what also makes us attractive is that we're female-founded. Thus, we were able to find supporters for us in two women's entrepreneurial networks at once: at Encourage Ventures and at VDU.

We are looking forward to the journey together with our customers and our investors, and are optimistic about the future.
