- iOS 17 was the version with a very dominant share of 87.70% as of end of August 2024. With the launch of iOS 18 the share of iOS 17 had notably decreased to 65.25% at the end of September. The decrease has slowed down a bit as iOS 17 still had a share of 57.23% at the end of October.
- iOS 18 had surged to a share of 26.59% one month ago and as of end of October had a share of 34.87%.
- A year ago the pattern was similar: the share of iOS 17 had seen an increase from 4.90% to 37.11% within one month and the next month increased slower to just 43.88% at this time in 2023.
