Some interesting observations are:
- macOS 15.6 had a share of about 63% as of end of August 2025. The share has since declined to 21.86% at the end of October.
- macOS 15.7 appeared in the middle of September for the first time and was at 23.12% at the end of October.
- The share of macOS 26.0 is continuing to be volatile in our dataset. It was at over 47% during October, before finishing the month at 31.70%. As there has been a significant growth of our dataset over the last months volatility like that may rather be caused by our increasing data and not be a general trend.
- macOS 26.1 is becoming relevant at 8.29% at the end of October.
