macOS Versions Market Share in 2025

This chart shows the top 10 macOS Versions for each week in the last year. Values are percentages.

Some interesting observations are:

• mac OS 15.1 was the most used version at the end of November 2024 with over 50% and macOS 15.2 at the end of January 2025 with a share of over 35%. At the end of March both these versions only had a share of less than 4.00% each.
• macOS 15.3 was the most used version with a share of 66.82% as of end of March 2025 after an increase of over 40% within one month in February.
• The share of macOS 15.3 hasn´t changed that much during the last month. But digging deeper it could be noticed that the security update provided with macOS 15.3.2 in March has been adopted quickly with that version representing over 84% of macOS 15.3 at the end of March.
• macOS 15.4 has become the second most used version with 7.75% as of the end of March.
