Hello 2026! We are revisiting the tradition of quarterly updates from Daniel and me and tell you a bit about how the company is doing.

Hello 2026! We are revisiting the tradition of quarterly updates from Daniel and me and telling you a bit about how the company is doing.
New faces but the same fantastic team
We are very proud to only have the most loyal and smart people on our team.

We are thrilled to tell you that Mikaela Caron is joining forces with TelemetryDeck and will take care of some parts of our social media activities and developer relations. Mikaela is well-known in the indie developer community for her podcast as co-host of “Swift over Coffee.” She is an experienced developer with several apps in the App Store, and the list of talks she held at various conferences is long. We couldn’t have asked for a better person to join our team.
Please visit Mikaela’s page.
Mikaela is replacing Cihat, who helped us build TelemetryDeck, leveled up our social media game, answered a lot of your tickets, and built some of TelemetryDeck’s most valuable features. We really enjoyed working with Cihat and wish him all the best for his new projects!
Also joining us is our old friend Konstantin Kostov-Gerry, who previously worked on the TelemetryDeck KotlinSDK. Recently, Konstantin took over maintenance of all TelemetryDeck SDKs to make sure they share the same structure, features, and ease of use. Because he's literally multilingual and comfortably at home across platforms, you'll find him on GitHub and in our support helping with questions about Swift, Kotlin, Flutter, and JavaScript.
And do check out Konstantin's own project, flowvi.be- a mood playlist maker focused on rediscovering music you already love.
We also hired our first salesperson. Christian Böhm joined TelemetryDeck in late 2025 as a part-time employee here in Augsburg. He has extensive experience in enterprise sales and has spent most of his career in the IT sector. You will mainly be in contact with him if your company purchases an enterprise plan from us and the sales process spans several months and involves different stakeholders. This is Christian's area of expertise. He also represents TelemetryDeck at various trade shows and conferences throughout Germany.
In his spare time, Christian is active as a referee for ice hockey games in the region. He is also an expert on New Work and an active member of the German New Work Association and occasionally speaks at events about New Work-related topics.
Product News
In the past months, we published “Export for AI” and “Dashboard Sharing.” Two new features that help you get actionable tasks from your data even faster. We’d love to hear your feedback!
Also, we worked heavily on closing a lot of tickets with these little annoying paper cuts. We actively decided to prioritize them higher for a while. We can now afford to do this because we have well-established strategies for acquiring new customers (see below). This means we can divert some of our development resources away from these tasks and focus more actively on ensuring the satisfaction of our existing customers. Although churn has always been very low with TelemetryDeck (ranging between 0 and 6% per month), we want to address your needs even before you feel the need to write a ticket.
That being said, please continue to send us anything you notice. The best way to do this is to create a ticket directly via GitHub or join existing tickets. Our support team is the ideal point of contact for all questions relating to data availability, queries, and subscriptions.
Our servers are busy
Although TelemetryDeck's revenue is growing, we continue to work on building a cost-effective and high-performance server infrastructure. Our goal is to provide you with your data quickly and affordably. That's why we have to make adjustments and rearrange data from time to time. Sometimes this causes friction. We are aware that almost all of you are super patient. We are doing our best to update our status page as soon as possible. You find the link in the footer of your dashboard and here.
To smooth things up, we asked you to convert your data into Namespaces. If you haven’t done this yet, please follow the instructions in your dashboard and visit this post for background info.
Currently, we’re getting so many new customers that we had to temporarily drop data processing for free customers down to once per day, which is, of course, not ideal. We’re working hard on getting that back up to at least once per hour, the same as our paid customers. You’ll find updates on our status page.
#TelemetryWrapped did not create the attention we were hoping for

For the third year in a row, we provide custom images with funny comparisons to the data of your apps. We’ve built this a) to make you smile and b) because we hoped people would share their images. We are always working towards reaching a bigger audience and telling even more cool developers about our app analytics solution.
But this plan did not work with TelemetryWrapped 2025. We didn’t get as many shares as we expected and barely any direct feedback. That’s why we’re wondering: Was it all worth it? We love to hear your thoughts about annual reviews. That would help us immensely decide where we put our energy in November 2026.
The survey is super
To end on a positive note, our survey is running great. We started posting charts about iOS market share in November 2022 via our blog and then moved the charts to dedicated landing pages and added more and more topics.
We quickly became internet-famous as one of the top sources for questions around iOS versions and adoption rates, which brings us thousands of website visitors and a steadily growing visibility in search engines and genAI tools.
Top 10 iOS major versions (by week)
We are super proud that 9to5Mac, Forbes Magazine, iOS Dev Weekly, and the Wall Street Journal are using TelemetryDeck as a top source for insights about iOS market share. We are also a recommended source on several newsletters, on Reddit, and on a lot of other technology websites.
It feels as if we have crossed a magical threshold with this topic, beyond which its reach is amplifying itself. Important journalists see that we have been a reliable source for years and quote us in their articles, which in turn are read by bots and quoted in AI dialogues. This brings even more visitors to our website, who then recommend TelemetryDeck as a source. And the best part: People that are interested in iOS version market share are our ideal target group, since these questions tend to come up when you work on your app. Voilá! For me, as a former SEO manager, this feels like hitting the jackpot.
2026 will be…
…amazing when it comes to TelemetryDeck. That’s for sure. But with a heavy heart, we are looking at all the conflicts in the world and the rise of fascism that goes hand in hand with hypercapitalism. We are people that care, and we try to make use of our influence. Lisa is even running for becoming a member of the city council in the upcoming elections in our city in March 2026. Fingers crossed.
